What I'm doing right now.
A monthly snapshot. Inspired by nownownow.com.
Top of mind
- Leading data products and partnerships at Candid. Multi-vendor strategy, AI prototyping, and getting hundreds of fiscal-sponsorship projects into national philanthropic data infrastructure.
- Roost with Josie Moss: post-launch, turning user feedback into repeatable GTM. The community is forming.
- Valet is running my work daily. 25 production skills, methodology essays in progress. The orchestration layer is the interesting part.
- Observatory. The behavioral-finance framing holds up the more I pressure-test it. Regime-first design beats noise-first design every time.
What I'm building
- Roost with Josie Moss (cofounded). Marketing site at roost.design.
- Valet. 25 production AI skills running my work daily. Methodology essays are the current public deliverable.
- Observatory. Regime-first macro dashboard. Active design and implementation work.
- Floodplain. Phase 2 (rapid-fire and topic-tangent detection) on the roadmap when I get there.
What I'm reading
- Why Buddhism Is True by Robert Wright. Heavier on neuroscience and evolutionary biology than the title suggests. Good.
- Howard Marks memos, as always. The discipline of reading them slowly.
Where I am
Currently in California.
Open to
- Builder-track product roles in social-sector AI tooling and philanthropic infrastructure.
- Advisory or board work in mission-driven product.
- Conference talks, podcast interviews, guest lectures. See the speaking page for topics.
- Conversations about Roost, Valet, Observatory, and the design principles behind them.
